ICU RUN The Movie – coming Fall 2025

ICU RUN The Movie is a short experimental musical movie by Camilla Sparksss, inspired by her upcoming album ICUR RUN. A bold fusion of music and surreal visuals, the movie explores grief, escape, and self-discovery through a fragmented, emotionally charged narrative.
At its core, ICU RUN The Movie follows a renegade woman, played by Camilla Sparksss, as she struggles to break free from her past. Shadowing her every move is Phantom, a mischievous puppet—part protector, part tormentor—who embodies the traumas and lost relationships that still haunt her. Though unseen by others, Phantom’s presence is undeniable, influencing her choices and pulling her deeper into the chaos of her emotions.
The story unfolds in a non-linear sequence of intense, everyday moments—love, illness, devotion, and fleeting encounters with strangers—all building toward a moment of reckoning. As she fights to outrun her past, Phantom continuously reshapes her reality, pushing her toward a deeper understanding of herself.
With a mix of high-energy surrealism and biting intimacy, ICU RUN The Movie is a deeply personal journey into the lingering ghosts of memory and the search for self-acceptance.

LULLABIES Audiovisual Album & Live Performance

LULLABIES - Animated Vinyl Album Set -->GO TO THE STORE
Camilla Sparksss Lullabies is an audio-visual album released November 24, 2023 for On The Camper Records. It is a collection of eight bedtime stories for adults consisting of two 12inch animated vinyl and a magic mirror designed by the artist. By placing the mirror on top of the record the animations spin to life at 45RPM.
LULLABIES - Live performance
The live audiovisual performance that brings to life a unique fusion of animated vinyls and electronic music has been touring across festivals and theatres in Europe since 2024, this captivating show integrates the animated records performed live, with spoken words and mellotron creating a mesmerizing synergy between sound and visuals.
Bedtime Stories for Adults -
It took ages to finish this album. It all started at a moment when day-to-day rituals crashed. Right then it felt natural to part from the usual cold-wave noise compositions, and write Lullabies. The stories are very simple, spoken words, entirely composed on mellotron with a few endless grooves. An ode to spark the inner child. In an era of digital overload this album had to be purely analogue; physical and authentic.
An album that people could experience in a natural environment, without having to look at a screen. Joseph Plateau’s phenakistoscope was the perfect visual universe for this. So with the help or my friend and designer Giulio Parini we began designing a mirror that could be placed on top of the spinning picture discs. It took months to determine a frame rate for 45RPM to draw and re-draw the animations. Then, it took years to design a model that could be assembled at home and fit in a vinyl cover.
Twenty-three prototypes to be exact. By the end, I think we both regret having set off on this adventure. It’s not a genre of music or illustrative technique that I’m likely to develop in the future. It’s simply an experiment I needed to look into. And with this approach, I feel like a weirdly fascinating universe quietly came to exist. One that we all travel to at night when our consciousness leaves for the day, and finally, the child is left home alone to draw on the walls merrily.
